About the Rider

I'm a 20-something veterinarian originally hailing from Lexington, KY, currently located in Louisville, KY. I've been riding since I was 12 (got bit by the horse bug later than most!) and haven't looked back. I started in Hunter/Jumpers, and dabbled in Eventing with some combined tests and mini-trials. Although I love flatwork, deep down, I just want to jump and go fast. I like big-bottomed horses who have had multiple career changes, and recently, a ginger OTTB.

I began this blog to chronicle balancing my life as a veterinary professional and student, and my love of horses (and all things with four legs or less!). I currently have no idea what discipline I'll end up in with the ginger peanut, but it'll sure be an interesting road along the way!
